Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;
Because the Last Exit crew was attending a 2CW wrestling show, this night's program was prerecorded, and brought back something from way back in the day that used to be featured semi regularly, but which hasn't been done in probably a decade if not more... A Z'Ha'Dum Show, which is a program consisting of all very dark music, doom, Goth, black metal, melodic songs, anything in a very dark vain. And, you can thank me, or blame me, depending on whether you like, liked, and/or missed those shows, because Azkath got out of the mood of doing them, and had decided not to do them anymore. When I requested that another one be done sometime, as I had liked them, he made this pre-recorded show, for when, for whatever reason, a live show would not be possible, as a surprise for me, dedicating the whole show to me, which I greatly appreciate! So, Z'Ha'Dum was brought back for one last time, I highly enjoyed it, and hope everyone else did as well...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;
Kal returned, after two weeks absence, when he had been sent out to the cemetery with Just Joe and Tim to ghost hunt. Now everyone else who had done that had come back possessed, and trapped in a jar, and needing to be set free, with then no memory of it. The same for Kal, except that when attempting to free him from the jar, things got bloody.

The band Zadoc And The Nightmare was there for most of the program, almost five hours. They were interviewed, and promoted the fact that they would be performing at the next The Last Exit For The Lost Presents Show, which was upcoming on the following Friday. They played lots of songs live and acoustic on the air (they now have a cello player, and a mandolin player, very cool), at least five sets of three songs each, and one final set of two songs, so like seventeen songs! Some tracks were also played from their CD. They rock, www.zadocnightmare.com is their website, and they are also on facebook, myspace, youtube, and twitter. There were two segments of Movie Time, with Mark Anbinder a long time WVBR personality, members of Zadoc And The Nightmare, and, Kal contributing to one of them.

The last hour was The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour...

August 21, 2011 - Andra Dare and Graveyard Exploring

Show Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;
Andra Dare called in at 2am for an extended interview about her musical project, book ended by two of her songs. She is cool, www.andradare.com is her website, and she is also on facebook. Tim and Lance were there, as were Shane, and EVD. There were discussions on the paranormal, one of which turned into a discussion on politics as well. EVD gets a bit enthusiastic in political discussions. Since the paranormal was being discussed, Tim and Lance were sent out to the cemetery, and told to find a ghost. A while later they called in. All they would say was "Help! Help! They are all around us! Help!". Then the call abruptly ended. Just Joe was sent out to help them. Now, that would really reassure me, to know that my help would be coming from Just Joe! Just Joe returned a while later, saying that he had been unable to find them. He also gave the impression that he hadn't really tried very hard to find them, as he didn't want to go searching around the cemetery at night, so he had mostly just stood outside it and called out to them, and looked a bit in the really well lit areas. See what I mean about what a great help Just Joe is?! Tim and Lance were heard nor seen no more on this night, we shall see if they ever return, and, if they do, perhaps they will elaborate a bit more on what happened to them. The day before this LE was H. P. Lovecraft's birthday, August 20th, 1890, so that was made note of, and a song was played in tribute to him. There were a few segments of Movie Time, with Tim, Lance, and, EVD contributing to some of them. The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour began the program this time instead of ending it, Azkath thought maybe some people might prefer to have it at the beginning, as everyone may not be able to stay up 'til 6:00 AM, so listener feedback is sought to help decide that...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; Three fifths of the band Jane Dracula were there in the beginning portion of the program. They promoted their band's participation in the Women's Right To Rock Festival, which was the following weekend. All three tracks from their demo were played. they are cool, you can find them on facebook. Matt, the vocalist for the band Circus Of Dead Squirrels, called in shortly after 2:00 for an extended interview, followed by a track from his band's CD. They rock, www.circusofdeadsquirrels.net is their website. Rick, from The Metallic Onslaught, was there for the entire program. EVD and Kal were there for about the first half. EVD and Kal had been among the people who had left a few weeks ago, to find the aliens that Just Joe had kept insisting he saw, and then none of them had come back. Kal had claimed to have awakened at home, naked, with no memory of how that had happened. Other people had claimed that the same thing had happened to them. Then, last week, Just Joe had admitted that it had all been a hoax, to trick Azkath, because Azkath had said he was dumb. EVD had not been back since that night, so now Azkath asked if he had awakened at home naked, too. EVD said he had not, and claimed he had never said that he would be back that night, just that he would be back eventually, which was now. Azkath said that he had said "unlike everyone else, I'll be back", which meant that night, but EVD insisted he hadn't meant that, and that he had just gone home. There were three segments of Movie Time, with Rick and Kal contributing to some of them. And, no kid's ones from Just Joe this time. The last hour was The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour.

April 3, 2011 - Dave misses his Anniversary

Listen to the Show

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; It was Dave's three year anniversary on LE, on April first (what an appropriate date for that to be!), which was two days before this LE, which was on April third. Dave however, living up once again to his award as the worst co-host ever, was of course not there to celebrate it. Happy Anniversary, Dave! Jerk! EVD was there. There were several segments of Movie Time throughout the night, with EVD and Just Joe contributing. Yes, they both actually had movies to talk about this time. The final hour was The Rare, Obscure, And Classic Music Hour, which needs no further explanation... And, once again, Happy Third Anniversary, Dave, even though you suck and don't deserve it, for not showing up for it!

February 20, 2011 - A Quiet Show...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; After two weeks of bad weather and transmitter problems which left The Last Exit For The Lost unable to be heard unless you lived very near the station, and bad, windy weather threatening on this day, LE was finally back for everyone to hear, the way it should be. There was a lot of cool new music, being as how there was the new stuff from this week, plus the stuff from the past two weeks of LE's near total absence. There were a few Movie Times throughout the night, although Just Joe's movie viewing has been cut down considerably since he lost his cable, and so a lot of his are kid's movies he watched with his ten month old spawn. Foul Mouth Girl also contributed on one Movie Time. TTTP/RR was played. If a bullet played, Just Joe would be made into a snowman. If no bullet, then he wouldn't be turned into a snowman. There are now about eleven thousand songs on the computer. No bullet. And, the last few weeks, the last hour is all old music, and it was tonight... Always a cool thing...

January 23, 2011 - Dave is Back

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; Dave was there, and EVD was not, once again lending credence to the theory that they are indeed the same person, no matter how much both of them try to deny it. There were a few segments of Adventures In Listening, as Azkath had a ton of brand new music this week, and a few segments of Movie Time, with Dave participating in a couple of them before he left (he was there for about the first two hours). Which was Dave's first Movie Time, his virgin experience, if you will, as he, being the absolute worst co-host in the world, is never around enough to have participated in one, though it has been a feature for months and months now.

January 16, 2011 - Randy's Birthday

Pictures

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; The next day after this LE, Monday, January 17th, would be Randy's forty fifth birthday. Happy Birthday, Randy! So this LE was a Randy's Birthday Bash (with bash being quite literal, as there was lots of bashing going on, as I'll get to). It went like this... There was a bag of bullets, slips of paper with something written on them that would happen to someone. Every talk break, Randy would pick a person he wanted the bullet to be for, and then draw a bullet. Each person would have one chance to pass their bullet off to someone else. Bullets could be good or bad things, although it turned out no good bullets like money, or treats, were drawn. Or a bullet could be bad for the person receiving it, but good for the rest of us witnessing it. Present for this were, Randy, of course, his brother Bill, Bill's girlfriend Carissa, Rick from The Metallic Onslaught, Tim, Little Gorgar, Adam (a new Adam that she had found, as Rick had killed the old one a couple weeks back on our We Love Satan Show), EVD, and Keith Lame, who had not been there in a long while. And Gorgar, who also had not been there in quite a while, not as long as Keith, but a few months, was there for the last hour. Ok, so here are the results of all those bullets, there are a lot of them, as you can appreciate, with six hours of talk breaks, I'll try to get them all. Just Joe got to hug everyone. Bill got stabbed with forks by everyone. Keith got poked by everyone. EVD had to wear the P Prize around his neck, which had a penis on one side of it, and drain stop on the other. Just Joe got No Parking, which meant he was bashed repeatedly with a no parking sign. Adam got Screeched, err, I mean, sang to, by Just Joe. There was a Styrofoam orgy, where everyone went to war with big blocks of Styrofoam as weapons. Foul Mouth Girl threw Keith Lame in the snow. A bunch of people, as many as could fit, were shoved into the balloon room, the bathroom, filled with balloons, in there were, Bill, Carissa, Just Joe, EVD, Tim. Bill and Just Joe had a cardboard corners fight outside in the snow, Randy went to help his brother Bill, and he and Bill both wound up in the snow, so Just Joe won that one. Randy had to watch a porn movie with Tim, which was a total frustration for Randy, because Tim has no clue apparently what porn is supposed to be for, and kept fast forwarding through all the hot action parts looking for dialogue and plot. So that turned out to be a frustrating experience for both of them, for Randy because he didn't get to see a good porn flick, and for Tim, because he was apparently expecting a movie and was disappointed. Just Joe got his fingers shut in mousetraps. Tim got a puppet show put on for him by Just Joe and a couple of puppets, including Handy The Hand Puppet Of Doom. Keith Lame got chopped by Azkath. I think that covers all of them. So many balloons were blown up, that not only the bathroom, but the entire studio was completely filled with them, and they could be heard popping all night, and then, near the end of the night, they popped them all, so there was a few minutes of popping. The place was quite a mess, what with all the popped balloons, Styrofoam, cardboard, and probably some blood all over. There were two segments of Movie Time, with most everyone participating. So that was Randy's Birthday Bash. Literally. Once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RANDY!!

January 9, 2011 - Steve Performs

Pictures

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; This was a Tribute To The Past Show, no Russian roulette or bullets this time, but a straight Tribute To The Past night, like it used to be, but we haven't had one for a while. Which means of course, that the whole program was mostly old music, with lots of rare stuff, and songs you don't hear very often, and/or which you probably haven't heard in a long time. They were great to hear, and the opening theme to Tribute To The Past Shows was used to start the program. I say it was mostly old music because there were a couple of sets of new music, as Azkath said he had too much cool new stuff this week not to play any of it. EVD, Tim, Steve, and Rick from The Metallic Onslaught, were there. Steve brought his guitar and played Iron Maiden's "Children Of The Damned", very appropriate for a Tribute To The Past Show. Steve sang as well as played guitar. Steve has a band, Scholar. Azkath gave everyone a challenge, a Dave challenge (Dave, still really earning his title of Worst Co-Host Ever, was, once again, not present). They had to dance to a song especially picked for the occasion. Just Joe won. For his prize he got a bear hug from Rick. As soon as Just Joe found out what his prize was he didn't want it, but he got it anyways. Rick turned Just Joe around, so that he could hug Just Joe, but Just Joe couldn't hug him back. Then Rick threw Just Joe down the stairs. When asked how he liked his prize, Just Joe reported that his insides hurt. There were two segments of Movie Time, with Rick, Tim, Steve, and EVD participating in the first one, and Foul Mouth Girl participating in the second one...

January 2, 2011 - Co-host Night

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; This LE began at midnight, January 2nd, so it started just as New Years Day was ending. The co-hosts were each allowed to pick sets of music. Just Joe, Foul Mouth Girl, and Tim got to play two sets of their picks. And Shane got to pick one set, because he kinda sucks, and left quite early. And Dave.... Well Dave didn't get to have any set, because he really sucks, sucks so much he was awarded the title of Worst Co-Host Ever, with a plaque and everything last year, and he really earns that title, and yet again, was not there. Around 4:00, Just Joe suddenly and without warning decided to get completely naked. This traumatized Tim so much he had to leave. And why you may ask was Just Joe naked? Well, it seems he was reading some comic strip on the Internet and it gave him the idea, by saying that we don't live in caveman days, when they needed to cover up to keep warm, we can just turn the heat up, and we don't need clothing. So that's exactly what he did, turned the heat way up, so everyone else was roasting, and took all his clothes off. He refused to put them back on no matter how they pleaded, saying it was a protest. Since Just Joe had also said his nakedness was to show how great technology was, they locked him in the freezer to show him how great some other technologies are, other than heat. When he was out of the freezer, Just Joe suddenly wanted to know, through shivering, where his clothes were. They told him they had thrown them away, since he had said he didn't need them any more. After whining from Just Joe, they told him they really hadn't thrown them away, they had put them in the trunk of his car. He started whining again, saying that he'd have to go outside for that, where it was cold, and besides, his trunk was locked. Azkath said he knew what would warm him up, and gave him lots of hard slaps to his back and chest. Just Joe said he was now cold and sore. By the last talk break of the night, Just Joe had managed to retrieve his clothes, and was feeling a little warmer, and a bit better. And everyone else was feeling a whole lot better! Their were two segments of Adventures In Listening, and a few segments of Movie Time, with Tim participating in a couple of them...

December 12, 2010 - The Calm Before the Storms...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; For the third time in four weeks, Just Joe was absent. They blamed Kal, a regular in the chat room, saying he had taken Just Joe's car keys. The Friday before this LE, December 10th, was Kal's birthday, Happy Birthday, Kal. They all sang "Happy Birthday" to him, very badly, as badly as they possibly could, saying he sucked for keeping Just Joe from being there. EVD was there for most of the night, 'til about 4:00, and Little Gorgar, and Adam were there for the first two or three hours. There were a few segments of Movie Time throughout the night, with EVD, Little Gorgar, and, Adam participating in one of them, and there was one segment of Anomaly Corner. And, because we are in the holiday season, there was holiday themed music, the Last Exit way, of course, throughout the night. The last hour and a quarter of the program was a Featured Artist, the band being Morbid Angel, first some bands covering them, and then an hour of their music...

December 5, 2010 - EVD's Birthday

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; EVD was there 'til about 4:00. The day that had ended just as this LE had begun at midnight, December 4th, had been EVD's birthday. Happy Birthday, EVD! There were lots of segments of Movie Time throughout the night, and EVD actually had some movies to contribute to it. As Christmas was getting near, Christmas music, Last Exit style, of course, was scattered throughout the night. Just Joe was absent again, for the second time in three weeks. No one knew what had happened to him. They speculated that Kal had him, but he denied any knowledge of his whereabouts. So who knows. Perhaps we would find out next week, if Just Joe manages to return, and remembers whatever happened...

November 28, 2010 - Just Joe's Anniversary!

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; Since Just Joe missed his 7th Anniversary show last week (it was on Tuesday, November 23rd, two days after that LE, and five days before this one), it was celebrated again, much more fully, on this night. Happy 7th Anniversary, Just Joe! Just Joe said he had missed his Anniversary show because someone had ridden their bicycle in front of his car, and when he stopped (because he didn't want to damage his car), they had chloroformed him, and locked him in the trunk of his own car. He could still hear his show from his car stereo, he just couldn't get to it. He said he thought the perpetrator was Kal, a regular in our chat room. EVD was there for the first two or three hours, Little Gorgar and Adam were there for about the same time, and Ria was there for a while in the middle of the program. The clip of Just Joe's first ever appearance on LE was played once again this week, since he was actually there this time, and the one other clip that had been played last week was played again as well, but this week many, many more clips were played, they were played all night long, featuring the highlights of Just Joe's 7 years here. These clips were from Best Of The Last Exit For The Lost CD's. There was lots of Movie Time, as there hadn't been one the week before, so there was two weeks worth of it now, interspersed all throughout the night, with EVD, Little Gorgar, Adam, and, Ria participating in some of them. Just Joe, however, who should have had lots of material for this, being as how he had two weeks worth of movie watching to talk about, said that, while he was certain he had seen lots of movies in that time, he couldn't remember a single one of them to talk about, proving that, while he is not quite as worthless as Dave, he sure isn't worth much!

November 21, 2010 - Cult of Saints

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; The band Cult Of Saints was there. They brought three brand new songs with them. Or, maybe two, depending on how you want to count it, as one of them was two songs in one, and was thirteen minutes long. All of their new songs, as well as all six of their older songs, were played. They are cool. They were there for most of the night, 'til about four thirty. They were interviewed, told us about their band, and talked about a lot of topics, and told some interesting stories. Just Joe's 7th anniversary at LE was Tuesday, November 23rd, two days after this LE, so this show was a celebration of that. Happy 7th Anniversary, Just Joe! Just Joe, however, was absent for his Anniversary show, no one knew where he was. But clips from his first time on LE, and of some of his early appearances, were played from Best Of The Last Exit For The Lost CD's. Dave, who actually was there for once, went to go look for Just Joe. He didn't come back, with or without Just Joe. Maybe Just Joe was afraid to be there, afraid of whatever horrible things that might be done to him to celebrate his special day. Or maybe it's the band he's afraid of, since, the only other time they were there, Just Joe was also not. Near the end of the night, Azkath said there was a phone call that he couldn't hear well, and it was mumbled and garbled, but he thought that whoever it was said something about Just Joe, although he couldn't be sure. So perhaps that call had something to do with why Just Joe was absent for his anniversary show, where he was, or, perhaps not. I guess we shall hear next week... The last hour of the program was kind of a Tribute To The Past, all old music, with no talk breaks. And thus went Just Joe's 7th anniversary show, minus Just Joe.

And there was lots of new music, in fact mostly new music was played, as the week before had been the seven hour Tribute To The Past Show, where only old music is played, so, consequently, no new music then, and then, Azkath had gotten twice as much new music this past week as he usually does, so there was tons and tons of new stuff to be played, and so it was, cool how that works out huh? And several pairs of tickets for a show that was upcoming at The Haunt in the next week were given away, so several happy listeners got great free stuff, a chance to go to a rockin' show...

October 31, 2010 - Hardcore Halloween

Pictures

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; As both Halloween and this LE began at midnight, this was a very special Halloween program. EVD and Shane were there in the first part of the night. But most of the show featured bands. There were two bands, one was there for about the first couple hours, and one was there for most of the night. The former was the band Cult Of Saints, it was their first time here. They were interviewed, told us about themselves, and tracks from their CD were played. They are cool. The latter band was Zadoc And The Nightmare. They have added instruments to their band, they now have a cello and a mandolin. They were there until after 4:00. They played several sets of music, each with about three songs in it. They sounded awesome! They also updated us on what has been, and is, going on with the band, and about their forthcoming new CD. There was some molesting going on involving Just Joe and the band Zadoc And The Nightmare. Just Joe arrived quite late, about three hours into the program. After Zadoc And The Nightmare had gone, in the last part of the night, there were two segments of Movie Time, and one segment of Halloween Anomaly Corner. There was of course lots of Halloween music, both metal and comedy songs all throughout the night, about zombies, monsters, evil, and, just about Halloween in general... And thus went the very special Halloween LE...
