Recap by Fire Eater Wizard
It was Just Joe's birthday, October 7th, Happy Birthday, Just Joe(!), so this LE was Just Joe's Birthday Extravaganza. At first Just Joe seemed ok with that, but as the night wore on, he became more and more convinced that Azkath had some horrible thing in store for him. Even though Azkath had been nothing but nice to him. He let Just Joe pick songs all throughout the night, not sets, but individual songs all night. Then he gave Just Joe a birthday present, wrapped and everything. It was an Ipad. Just Joe stomped on it repeatedly. Now some people may have that reaction to Apple, but Just Joe already has two Iphones, so it was a very logical assumption that he would like an Ipad. Just Joe said he was sure it was full of spiders, or some other trap. Azkath tried to convince him that no, it was just a friendly Ipad, but Just Joe wouldn't believe it. There was an incident where the coffee machine kind of exploded coffee all over Just Joe, but that was purely a coincidence, caused by no one but the machine, but Just Joe became convinced that Azkath had caused that. As the night got closer and closer to the end, Just Joe became more and more paranoid, sure that some really horrible thing was going to happen to him. I wonder where he would ever get such a crazy idea, I mean, it's not like anything bad has ever happened to him here! He got so afraid that he went up on the roof, saying Azkath couldn't get to him up there. I tried to talk him down on the phone, telling him that he was just being paranoid, there was no horrible thing in store for him, and that he should come down from the roof, because, after all, roofs aren't exactly the safest places to hang out, one could fall, and, besides, there were probably spiders up there, I mean there usually are, that was how Randy fell off there a few months back. Azkath added that someone had been throwing jellybeans up on the roof, another thing Just Joe is afraid of for some reason. Just Joe panicked, and fell off the roof. So I got him down, not quite the way I intended to get him down, but, hey, Just Joe loves Super Happy Fun Jumping Off The Roof, he loves that game, I am sure he just wanted to play that on his birthday. Just Joe blamed Azkath for making him fall off the roof, something he had done himself. At the end of the night, nothing had happened to Just Joe, well, nothing that he hadn't caused himself, anyways. Just Joe got so happy and excited that he had made it through his birthday relatively unscathed, that he began running and bouncing all over, and apparently didn't look where he was going, because he fell right down the stairs, which he then blamed on Azkath, saying he had made him fall down the stairs, even though Azkath was nowhere near him. Just Joe said Azkath had caused all the bad things to happen to him that night, but, for once, that was not true, Azkath had really tried to give Just Joe a nice birthday. Azkath still accused Just Joe of building robots, and Just Joe still kept denying it. There were three segments of Movie Time, with both Azkath and Just Joe contributing. Two special birthday songs were played for Just Joe, Insane Ian's "Birthday Boy You Blow", and No FX's "Happy Birthday You're Not Special". The last hour was The Old School Hour... So, once again, A VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JUST JOE!!!

September 23, 2012 - Hypnotizing Randy

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;
The first almost two hours of the program were prerecorded, because everyone was attending the The Last Exit For The Lost Presents Show at The Haunt. When the live portion began, present were, Rick and Randy from The Metallic Onslaught, Tim, And two members of the band Ire Clad (Ire Clad had just performed at the aforementioned show), Eric, and, Pete. There was one segment of Movie Time, but no one had seen anything except for Azkath, and he had only seen two. When Randy was about to leave, Azkath hypnotized him, telling him that, on the way home, every time a word with a vowel was uttered, he would hold Rick's hand, just for a second. As Tim was leaving, Azkath told everyone to give him a group hug, Eric nearly crushed him. The last hour was The Old School Hour...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;
Because the Last Exit crew was attending a 2CW wrestling show, this night's program was prerecorded, and brought back something from way back in the day that used to be featured semi regularly, but which hasn't been done in probably a decade if not more... A Z'Ha'Dum Show, which is a program consisting of all very dark music, doom, Goth, black metal, melodic songs, anything in a very dark vain. And, you can thank me, or blame me, depending on whether you like, liked, and/or missed those shows, because Azkath got out of the mood of doing them, and had decided not to do them anymore. When I requested that another one be done sometime, as I had liked them, he made this pre-recorded show, for when, for whatever reason, a live show would not be possible, as a surprise for me, dedicating the whole show to me, which I greatly appreciate! So, Z'Ha'Dum was brought back for one last time, I highly enjoyed it, and hope everyone else did as well...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;
The day before this LE, March 10th, was Foul Mouth Girl's birthday. Happy Birthday, FMG! So this was her birthday show, among other things. Present were, Rick and Josh from The Metallic Onslaught, Raven, Bryan from the band Sorrow Of Batavia, briefly, Adam and Nikki, for a while, and, Chris, from the band Castle Bravo, currently, he is the drummer, and he was previously in the bands, Lotus Project, and Twilight Kingdom. He was there to talk about and promote Castle Bravo's participation in the next The Last Exit For The Lost Presents Show, which would be upcoming the following Saturday. Castle Bravo's music was played. They are cool. Chris, in addition to being in all those bands, is also a former regular weekly co-host of LE, where he was Handy The Handpuppet Of Doom's master. So they reunited Chris with Handy, who has spent most of Chris's absence down Just Joe's pants. Poor Chris! Having to put that on his hand! Handy was his usual loud obnoxious self, even though he is deteriorating a lot, and falling apart, lots of bits of blue felt shedding all over the place. Handy read the show listings, something he used to do sometimes, and made fun of the band names. He especially cracked up, and got everyone else in hysterics as well, at the band called Beard Without A Mustache. Handy got tazed by Raven, and he liked it a lot, so he has something in common with Jeffie! Chris, however, did not want to be tazed. At 2:00, Derek Rush, from the band Dream Into Dust, as well as many other bands and projects, phoned in for an extended interview, before, during, and, after which, three of his songs were played. They are cool. There is a campaign going to get the next album going, a preorder, with bonuses, through kickstarter.com, which you can participate in if you like his work and want to help him out, which you should, because, as I said, his work is cool, he is on facebook, which has the links to that, and he is also on youtube. This was also the night when we set the clocks ahead one hour to go back on Day Light Savings Time, so, at 2:00, it became 3:00, meaning of course that this LE was an hour shorter, only five hours instead of six. Bummer! Normally, this is the one night a year, when we pay tribute to glam, by giving it a whole hour, the hour from 2:00 to 3:00. Just Joe always gets all happy on this night, because he, like me, is a glam lover. However, unlike me, he is both not smart enough, and has no memory, so forgets every year, that there is no 2:00 to 3:00 this night, so he always winds up disappointed. But this year, the Derek Rush interview, took place at 2:00, and other stuff was going on in that hour, the stuff with Chris and Handy. So Azkath told Just Joe that FMG had been given that hour for her birthday, and that is where it had gone. But, the final hour, which is usually The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour, tonight was more of an old rock hour, some of which was a little on the glam side, including Autograph's "Turn Up Your Radio", which was requested, and, after some debate, Azkath very reluctantly played, to kind of make up for skipping our tribute to glam. Chris sang "Happy Birthday To You" to FMG earlier in the night, which was nice, except for Just Joe's screeched accompaniment. There was one segment of Movie Time, with everyone participating, although not everyone had seen movies. Just Joe, once again, had not, because he has been watching "Amazing Stories"...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;
Halloween fell on Monday, the day after this LE, so it was a pseudo Halloween program. There was lots of Halloween themed music played, comedy songs, and lots of metal about Halloween, or subjects that go with Halloween. Rick and Kal were there. They both scared Just Joe when they arrived, which is understandable with Rick, but with Kal? Really Just Joe! Just Joe said Kal had screamed when he arrived, and that had scared him. So he hid under the table. Again, Really, Just Joe? There was a Halloween contest. Azkath would ask them each questions, and the one who answered the fewest right, would be the loser, and would have to endure something scary. Kal lost the first round, so he got put on the barbed wire board, and stepped on and jumped on, just to make it extra scary. And probably the most scary part of all, Just Joe's butt fell on top of him! Just Joe lost a round, so he was put in a cabinet full of spiders for an entire set of music. He was quite traumatized by that. Rick's scary thing would have been to be forced to listen to Justin Beeber, Niel Diamond, and, the worst horror of all, Metallica with Lou Reed, for an entire set of music, but Rick didn't lose a round, so he never had to have a scary event. The Commander In Chief called in at 2:00 for an extended interview, book ended by two of her songs. She is a very cool musician, www.thecommanderinchief.net is her website, and she is also on facebook, youtube, and twitter. There were two segments of Movie Time, Just Joe had actually seen a couple movies this week, and Rick participated in one segment, as did Mark Anbinder, a long time WVBR personality. Someone was there in the last hour who had not been there in a very long while. No, once again, if you said Dave, you would be wrong, he is still living up to his very well deserved title of worst co-host in the world, and was yet again not there. It was Gorgar! Just Joe was so excited to see Gorgar that he screamed out his greeting very loudly, and very long. It had been Gorgar's birthday that past Tuesday, October 25th, Happy Birthday, Gorgar! Just Joe screeched, err, I mean, sang a little bit of "Happy Birthday To You" to him, before Gorgar said that was enough of the song. Just Joe said he had a birthday present for Gorgar. He stripped down. His present to Gorgar was that he had on Iron Man underwear, he told Gorgar he had gotten him Iron Man. Gorgar, for some reason, didn't seem too thrilled with his gift, and told Just Joe to get away from him, and to pull his pants up! There is just no pleasing some people!

Show Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;
Andra Dare called in at 2am for an extended interview about her musical project, book ended by two of her songs. She is cool, www.andradare.com is her website, and she is also on facebook. Tim and Lance were there, as were Shane, and EVD. There were discussions on the paranormal, one of which turned into a discussion on politics as well. EVD gets a bit enthusiastic in political discussions. Since the paranormal was being discussed, Tim and Lance were sent out to the cemetery, and told to find a ghost. A while later they called in. All they would say was "Help! Help! They are all around us! Help!". Then the call abruptly ended. Just Joe was sent out to help them. Now, that would really reassure me, to know that my help would be coming from Just Joe! Just Joe returned a while later, saying that he had been unable to find them. He also gave the impression that he hadn't really tried very hard to find them, as he didn't want to go searching around the cemetery at night, so he had mostly just stood outside it and called out to them, and looked a bit in the really well lit areas. See what I mean about what a great help Just Joe is?! Tim and Lance were heard nor seen no more on this night, we shall see if they ever return, and, if they do, perhaps they will elaborate a bit more on what happened to them. The day before this LE was H. P. Lovecraft's birthday, August 20th, 1890, so that was made note of, and a song was played in tribute to him. There were a few segments of Movie Time, with Tim, Lance, and, EVD contributing to some of them. The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour began the program this time instead of ending it, Azkath thought maybe some people might prefer to have it at the beginning, as everyone may not be able to stay up 'til 6:00 AM, so listener feedback is sought to help decide that...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; Three fifths of the band Jane Dracula were there in the beginning portion of the program. They promoted their band's participation in the Women's Right To Rock Festival, which was the following weekend. All three tracks from their demo were played. they are cool, you can find them on facebook. Matt, the vocalist for the band Circus Of Dead Squirrels, called in shortly after 2:00 for an extended interview, followed by a track from his band's CD. They rock, www.circusofdeadsquirrels.net is their website. Rick, from The Metallic Onslaught, was there for the entire program. EVD and Kal were there for about the first half. EVD and Kal had been among the people who had left a few weeks ago, to find the aliens that Just Joe had kept insisting he saw, and then none of them had come back. Kal had claimed to have awakened at home, naked, with no memory of how that had happened. Other people had claimed that the same thing had happened to them. Then, last week, Just Joe had admitted that it had all been a hoax, to trick Azkath, because Azkath had said he was dumb. EVD had not been back since that night, so now Azkath asked if he had awakened at home naked, too. EVD said he had not, and claimed he had never said that he would be back that night, just that he would be back eventually, which was now. Azkath said that he had said "unlike everyone else, I'll be back", which meant that night, but EVD insisted he hadn't meant that, and that he had just gone home. There were three segments of Movie Time, with Rick and Kal contributing to some of them. And, no kid's ones from Just Joe this time. The last hour was The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour.

May 29, 2011 - Sorrow of Batavia

Listen to the Show

Pictures

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;
The band Sorrow Of Batavia was there for the first couple of hours. They were there straight from having performed at the latest The Last Exit For The Lost Presents Show at The Haunt. One of the songs from that performance, yes, from just a couple of hours in the past, was even played. It was rockin'! The band had a new member, Cody, who had never been there before, so he had to be broken in. Just Joe gave him a lap dance, and then he was wishboned. Well, Cody, better wishboned, then if you take the wish part away from that word! Then Just Joe threw him down the stairs. Some members of The Metallic Onslaught, up from attending The Last Exit For The Lost Presents Show, were there, Rick and BBBIIIIILLLLL!!!!. They were there for about half the night. Rick reviewed The Finger Lakes Metal Fest, which had been the weekend before, and which The Metallic Onslaught had hosted. There were three segments of Movie Time, with Rick and BBBIIIIILLLLL!!!! contributing to some of them. And Just Joe, once again, actually talked about only adult fare. The last hour was, as almost always, The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour, which is always a cool treat...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; Two members of the band Angels Beneath Me, Dan and Jeremiah, were there for about three hours. They promoted the fact that they would be among the bands performing at the next The Last Exit For The Lost Presents Show, which would be the following Saturday. All three of the tracks from their EP were played, as well as some live tracks from past The Last Exit For The Lost Presents Shows. While they were there, Azkath beat on Just Joe with the barbed wire bat. Then he had Just Joe beat on one of the band members with it, and then throw him down the stairs. EVD was there until about 4:00. There were three segments of Movie Time, with Angels Beneath Me contributing to a couple of them. And EVD actually for once, amazingly, had movies to talk about, and not just one, not two, but three. Just Joe also had quite a few movies, and, also amazingly, not a single one of them was a kid's movie this time. The last hour was, as usual, The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour...

May 8, 2011 - Just Joe Recovers from No Pants Day

Listen to the Show

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;
Kal was there. At the beginning of the night, Just Joe went into some sort of weird fit, shaking and rocking and making weird sounds, and he left. This seems to be related in some way to the events of No Pants Day the night before at The Metallic Onslaught. Possibly some trauma he suffered. He came back, wouldn't say where he had been, and was still not acting like himself. then, all of a sudden, he was naked! Or nearly naked, he was wearing a mankini, which somehow was even more disturbing. Everyone was freaked out, except Just Joe, of course. They got him talked into putting his clothes back on, but he would keep putting the mankini on again. Finally they showed him a picture of Randy, from The Metallic Onslaught, taken there the night before, on No Pants Day. Randy was in a mankini. That seemed to work, Just Joe put his clothes back on. Later, Just Joe wanted to know where his mankini had gone. They decided Kal had probably taken it with him when he went home, to keep Just Joe from ever reeking havoc with it again. Then another thought occurred to them. Maybe Kal had taken it to wear himself, on his head, while he danced around his house and yard, naked. They asked Kal, who was now in the chat room, if any of this were true. Kal said he had put the mankini on his cat, he liked it. We're not sure if the "he" refers to the cat, or Kal. Probably both of them. That's just wrong! There were two segments of Movie Time, with Kal participating in the first one. Just Joe actually had contributions this time that weren't kid's stuff. The last hour was The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour...

April 24, 2011 - We Love Satan Easter Show

Listen to the Show (Playlist Below)

Pictures

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard;
It was Easter Sunday, so, of course, it was the We Love Satan Show, Easter edition. Just Joe was The Easter Bunny. And there would be Easter Bunny Olympics. Rick, from The Metallic Onslaught, was there. So were, EVD, Dave, amazingly, Kal, and, some one who hadn't been there in a long, long time, Brian, aka Bri-Law, aka Badchiken. The first Olympic event was hunt The Easter Bunny... Just Joe, outfitted with rabbit ears, a carrot, and a bunch of plastic Easter eggs, had to try to survive being chased by Rick, Foul Mouth Girl, and, Kal, who had weapons like a barbed wire bat and The Boomstick. Just Joe threw his eggs at his pursuers. Foul Mouth Girl killed him that time, with a knife. But, since this is Easter, which is the only time this works, the dead Easter Bunny can be resurrected by pouring water over him. So they brought him back to life. The next event... They gave The Easter Bunny a special candy egg, candy that Rick loved, and The Easter Bunny was supposed to try and keep it away from Rick. Just Joe gave the candy to Dave, and put the rabbit ears on him as well, making Dave The Easter Bunny. Rick got the candy, killing Dave. They resurrected him, and it worked, and then Brian DDT'd Dave, I mean The Easter Bunny, on the floor, killing him. And, they discovered that, when Brian had done that, Dave's rabbit ears had fallen off, so he wasn't The Easter Bunny at that time, and The Easter Bunny is the only one who can be resurrected, he is the only one it works on, we found that out last year, when Harold, The Enforcer, got killed and couldn't be revived, or at least not then, he did eventually turn up alive a couple weeks later. So Dave was dead. Rick put the body in the trunk of EVD's car, and EVD left to dispose of the body. The next event... An Easter version of shooting gallery, at a carnival, where you shoot at the ducks, well, here, The Easter Bunny would walk back and fourth while Rick, Brian, and, Kal threw plastic eggs at him. Brian got in a good shot to the face, and Rick succeeded in accidentally knocking him down the stairs, killing him. They resurrected him with the water. Next event... Brian hadn't been there for the Easter Bunny hunt, and Kal wanted another try at it, so there was a second hunt. Although Kal got in a good shot with the barbed wire bat to Just Joe's, I mean, The Easter Bunny's ass, which tore off a piece of ass, it was Brian who won the hunt, killing The Easter Bunny with The Boomstick. They resurrected The Easter Bunny. Kal hit Brian with the barbed wire bat for gloating that he had won. Next event... This one came about because Brian misunderstood the name of a band, he thought, instead of Fleshburn, which was the correct name, that they had been saying Fleshburger, which gave Azkath, evil demon that he is, a good evil idea. He had Brian hit The Easter Bunny twice brutally with a shovel, killing him. Then, while he was dead, he had Brian cut off one of his hands, and told him to cook it up, put it on a hamburger bun, a fleshburger, and they would feed it to The Easter Bunny when they resurrected him. The Easter Bunny's hand would grow back when he came back to life. After all, two Easters ago, Just Joe planted his severed hand, and, out of that, we got Shane. At the next break they told Just Joe, who was alive again, with two hands, that Brian had cooked him up a special Easter treat, a nice sandwich. Just Joe tasted it. At first he wasn't sure how it was, but then he smothered it in barbecue sauce and salt, and found it pretty tasty. He wanted Brian to try it. Brian didn't want to at all, but Just Joe forced some of the burger down him. Brian puked. They asked Just Joe to rate the sandwich on a scale of one to five. He gave it a three and a half to four. Then they told him that he had eaten his severed hand. He didn't seem to be quite sure how he felt about that. Next event... Throw The Easter Bunny. Brian and Rick would throw The Easter Bunny out of the room, toward the stairs to see who could throw him the farthest. The Easter Bunny didn't want to accidentally go down the stairs, so he closed the door to the stairs. Brian went first, he threw The Bunny a couple times. Then Rick did it, and threw The Bunny right through the door and down the stairs, killing The Easter Bunny, and breaking the door. Rick definitely won that event, which was the final event in The Easter Bunny Olympics. There were three segments of Movie Time, with Rick, Brian, and, Kal participating in various ones, including one special segment, just for this show, Satanic Movie Time, where everyone named their favorite Satanic movie. And, of course, as always on We Love Satan Shows, the majority of the music was about and to or for Satan...

April 17, 2011 - Fun with Just Joe

 Listen to the Show

From Fire Eater Wizard;
A Russian Roulette Set was played. If a bullet played, Just Joe would have to give a talk on how much he hates anime, which he did not at all want to do, as he loves, loves anime. Bullet. So Just Joe tried, not too successfully, to come up with reasons why he hates anime. One was that he hates it when people call anime cartoons. Just Joe had a big announcement for us... Wait for it... He says the brand new Squirtin' Chubbies CD is ready, he said it's seventy two tracks, and it's called "Face Full Of Raccoon", featuring the single, "Ah! Get It Off!" which he sang for us, or rather screeched for us, that's what the song was, a shriek, which he interpreted for us as "AAAAAHHHHH!!!!! GET IT OFF!!!!!!!!". Um, get it off!? Are you sure that refers to the raccoon!? I'm sure that's going to be a huge hit! There were several segments of Movie Time throughout the night. Just Joe mostly had only kids stuff to contribute, and a couple Anime. Adam called in from Virginia, to participate in a Movie Time. There was a segment of Adventures In Listening. The last hour of the program was The Rare Obscure And Classic Music Hour...

April 10, 2011 - Disfigured Dead and The Return of Gorgar!

Listen to the Show - Playlist is Below

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; Most of the band Disfigured Dead, three out of the four members, minus the bass player, were there for most of the night, 'til around 3:30. They were interviewed, and all of the tracks from their CD were played. Dave was there, a week after his fourth anniversary here. He got hugged by the band for his anniversary present. Dave was a lot happier about that than the band was. Reese, the vocalist from the band Ana Kefr, called in at 2:00 for an extended phone interview. Tracks from his band's CD were played. They are a very cool band, www.anakefr.com is where you can find them. EVD was there, and so was Dave, although Dave is still living up to his title of the worst co-host ever, because he was only there for like an hour, about long enough to get his anniversary hug from the band and then leave. Although, one of them must have been an elusion, since EVD and Dave are the same person, maybe that's why one of them disappeared so soon, it was too much work for him to sustain the illusion. Gorgar arrived around 4:00. Just Joe has been waiting and waiting for months to be able to announce a Gorgar's Corner, or a Gorgar's Glamarama, as Gorgar has not been there for that long. Now Just Joe was ecstatic. For a moment it looked like he was going to be severely disappointed yet again, as Gorgar had no music to be played. Just Joe started to blubber, but Azkath found something he knew Gorgar would probably like, and so Just Joe was told he could announce it after all. He started to announce Gorgar's Glamarama, but they told him it would be Gorgar's Corner tonight. Just Joe's announcement was so loud, and so long, and so enthusiastic, that I'm sure it blew out the speakers, and radios, and computers (for those listening on-line), and eardrums of every single person hearing it. Gorgar was told he should never stay away this long again, if this is what happens when announcing Gorgar's Corner, or Gorgar's Glamarama, builds up for so long in Just Joe. Gorgar's pick for us was new Kingdom Come, with the song "Should I?". There were two segments of Movie Time. The last hour was, as usual, The Rare, Obscure, And Classic Hour...
