Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; The band Cult Of Saints was there. They brought three brand new songs with them. Or, maybe two, depending on how you want to count it, as one of them was two songs in one, and was thirteen minutes long. All of their new songs, as well as all six of their older songs, were played. They are cool. They were there for most of the night, 'til about four thirty. They were interviewed, told us about their band, and talked about a lot of topics, and told some interesting stories. Just Joe's 7th anniversary at LE was Tuesday, November 23rd, two days after this LE, so this show was a celebration of that. Happy 7th Anniversary, Just Joe! Just Joe, however, was absent for his Anniversary show, no one knew where he was. But clips from his first time on LE, and of some of his early appearances, were played from Best Of The Last Exit For The Lost CD's. Dave, who actually was there for once, went to go look for Just Joe. He didn't come back, with or without Just Joe. Maybe Just Joe was afraid to be there, afraid of whatever horrible things that might be done to him to celebrate his special day. Or maybe it's the band he's afraid of, since, the only other time they were there, Just Joe was also not. Near the end of the night, Azkath said there was a phone call that he couldn't hear well, and it was mumbled and garbled, but he thought that whoever it was said something about Just Joe, although he couldn't be sure. So perhaps that call had something to do with why Just Joe was absent for his anniversary show, where he was, or, perhaps not. I guess we shall hear next week... The last hour of the program was kind of a Tribute To The Past, all old music, with no talk breaks. And thus went Just Joe's 7th anniversary show, minus Just Joe.

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; For about the first half of the night, EVD, Little Gorgar, Adam, and Chad were there. There were three segments of Movie Time, with EVD, Little Gorgar, Adam, and Chad participating in the first one. And there was lots of new music, in fact mostly new music was played, as the week before had been the seven hour Tribute To The Past Show, where only old music is played, so, consequently, no new music then, and then, Azkath had gotten twice as much new music this past week as he usually does, so there was tons and tons of new stuff to be played, and so it was, cool how that works out huh? And several pairs of tickets for a show that was upcoming at The Haunt in the next week were given away, so several happy listeners got great free stuff, a chance to go to a rockin' show...

Recap by The Metal Wulf; (FEW Recap at end of Post) Alright, folks, you'd better all enjoy this one, because it's probably the only recap I'll be writing for The Last Exit For The Lost. So, how did this come about? What circumstances drove me to defect from The Metallic Onslaught for what would end up being only one night? Glad ya asked!
So, there was this sinister force in the universe known as Jeffie. Jeffie was a clone of the Last Exit's host, who we all know as the Demon Azkath. (Well, more specifically, Jeffie was a clone of Jeff the Radio Guy, who in turn is a clone of Azkath, but hey, no sense in getting overly technical here...) On the last edition of The Metallic Onslaught, which was our Halloween show, Jeffie showed up as Pepe. Now, as the night wore on, Pepe decided I should wear his outfit, throwing his itchy poncho on me, and his sombrero, and also shoved his maracas in my hands. Hey, I did my best to play along, just go with it, try to have fun, yada, yada, yada... But then he had to go and chloroform me... This particular indignity was bad enough, but what came next was too much for this Wulf to take. The Onslaught's host, Joe Wyatt, suggested that Jeffie revive me by doing CPR, not knowing that I was slowly reviving on my own. But, Jeffie went with it anyway, and decided to give me mouth-to-mouth, clearly not knowing that tongue should NEVER be involved with the process. Suffice to say, Jeffie could probably have told you what the contents of my stomach were that night...
So, it was a a hard decision, but in the end I figured that it couldn't possibly be any worse going to Ithaca and joining up with Azkath's crew. As I understood it, Jeffie was never allowed on their show, so I would be free of him, once and for all! Now, I should mention that Rick from the Onslaught was also on hand this night, I think in the hopes of getting me to reconsider my move. But, my mind was made up!
And really, I'd thought I'd picked a good night to make my official debut! This was one of their Tribute To The Past Russian Roulette shows, which features nothing but older music The Russian Roulette portion comes from Azkath playing random selections of music. A "bullet" in this variation is actually in the form of a certain category of song, whether it's something that's been overplayed on mainstream radio, or something really cheesy, or a cover version. Those are a few examples anyway. When a bullet plays, someone gets to pick a little slip of paper out of a bag, and what's written on the paper dictates what comes next. The person who drew the slip chooses somebody ("victim"is a good choice of words, here...) to be the subject of whatever's written on the slip. Example: Shane became the subject of record breaking. Literally, having vinyl record albums broken over his head! Other bullets resulted in a few of the guys being piled into the rest room, which was full (and I do mean FULL!) of balloons, not to mention EVD taking a shot to the head with a DVD player (courtesy of me!). If you're a regular listener, I'm sure you know of what I am speaking! Actually, it was a great deal of fun until a bullet with Jeffie's name on it was drawn... Now, this meant that somebody had to actually call Jeffie to come onto the Last Exit, where he is normally forbidden. I mean, really, of all nights! What the HELL? Azkath suspected this particular bullet has been snuck into the bag by Just Joe. But rules are rules, so, against the wishes of nearly everybody there (except Just Joe), Jeffie arrived. It was a short visit, I must say... I think I may have let out a war cry of sorts, as I picked up my liter size bottle of Mountain Dew, and a sharp fragment of record album that just happened to be within reach. What happened next is probably far too gory for words, as I proceeded to bludgeon and slice Jeffie into a virtually unrecognizable lump of red goo in the hallway. Sloth, no stranger to The Last Exit, summed up part of the carnage, describing my ripping Jeffie in half after grabbing hold of each of his butt cheeks. Now, I really must have been in a blind rage, 'cuz I really don't quite remember that part... Anyhoo, what was left of Jeffie was probably far more shocking than the time I killed and ate all his llamas. Just Joe was highly displeased (okay, more like ENRAGED) at returning to find his friends' remains strewn about the hallway, and I think Azkath was a little put-out with me as well. He even went so far as to say that he wasn't making any more Jeffie's to send to the Onslaught. Now, Rick and I both agreed that the Onslaught would be perfectly fine with that, but Azkath seems to think that without Jeffie, we're only going to end up turning on each other. Actually, this was kind of a non-issue at first, since I'd still planned on staying true to my defection. At least, up until I became the subject of a bullet... Just Joe had drawn this particular slip, which simply said "Porno Joe". He didn't seem familiar with this particular action, but made me the target anyway. Azkath assured Joe that he'd remember soon enough, and began playing some really bad Seventies porn music. Next thing I knew, Joe was stripping his shirt off and giving me a lamp dance, bouncing his hairy monkey-like physique on my knees, rubbing my head. I think unrestrained panic would be a good way to describe my reaction. It took my beating him with a computer keyboard to get him off of me, and I quickly made a run for the door, screaming for Rick to get me out of there! Of course, once it was all over, Just Joe didn't remember a thing and I was emotionally scarred, quite possibly for life. They'd gotten me calmed down sufficiently, but I'd already changed my mind about my decision. I was gettin' out of there and returning to the Onslaught!
Hey, if nothing else, we don't have to worry about that annoying Jeffie anymore!

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; This was the night the clocks are set back, at 2:00 A.M. it dropped back to 1:00 A.M, so this was the one night a year that LE is seven hours instead of six, and it is always a Tribute To The Past Show, nothing but old music. And, recently, it has also become a mostly Russian Roulette Show, with the computer picking from over eleven hundred songs at random, and, when a bullet played, i.e., a cheesy, glam, '80's song, any overplayed song, or any cover... Well, here's where it gets a little bit different than usual... When that happened a person would be chosen to draw a "Bullet", a piece of paper with something written on it that would happen to someone, and the person drawing the "bullet" must decide, before knowing what was written there, if they wanted it to happen to themselves, or someone else, and, if someone else, then whom. Got all that? Good. Because I'm not going through it again, and there will be a quiz later. Bullets could also be good or bad things, or that could all be relative, something might not be good for whom it was happening to, but be very good for those of us witnessing it. Akiri from Psyche Corporation played some music for us. And, as she played a Kiss song, she played the first bullet. She chose it to be for Dave, and the bullet read gives a lap dance, so Kiera got a lap dance from Dave, which she didn't want at all, and punched him in the face. Other bullets... Dave and Sloth rubbed their bellies in Shane's face. Sloth got thrown in a bathroom full of balloons with Just Joe, Dave, and Shane and they all fought in there. Later there was fighting involving cardboard box corners. Shane got records broken over his head by Just Joe, Rick from The Metallic Onslaught, and Wulfie, from The Metallic Onslaught. Sloth drew and said his bullet said "everybody hugs Sloth" they did, but then read the bullet and found, big surprise, that it did not say that at all, it said "type Face", which meant that Sloth got a wireless keyboard smashed across his face. EVD got a DVD player smashed on him. Azkath drew a bullet saying that Jeffie had to be allowed to come to LE, which he is forbidden to do. Azkath said no, but there was no arguing with the bullets... Jeffie's original theme music, something we hadn't heard in a long time, played, and Jeffie arrived. But he wasn't there long, he never even got a word out. Wulfie viciously attacked him, bludgeoning him brutally with a Mountain Dew bottle, and then taking a shard of broken record and eviscerating him, opening him up and disemboweling him. This was because Jeffie had revived an unconscious Wulfie on The Metallic Onslaught the week before by giving him mouth to mouth, only Jeffie's version of mouth to mouth is French kissing, which worked, it revived Wulfie, but it infuriated him. So now there was a huge, disgusting Jeffie mess in the hallway, which Wulfie was told he'd have to clean up. Azkath informed Wulfie and Rick that he was not making them another Jeffie this time, unless they asked him to, very nicely, which they were completely fine with. Azkath told them they would ask him, that, with no Jeffie, they would all turn on each other, and, they would want another Jeffie. They didn't believe this, but Azkath was pretty sure. Just Joe, who is the only person in the world who actually really likes Jeffie, considers him his buddy, cried when he saw the mess of very dead Jeffie, and attacked Wulfie, beating on him and saying he wouldn't stop until another Jeffie was made. That didn't happen, not this night, anyways. So, Jeffie's Death Song "The Hamster Dance" played, something else we hadn't heard in quite a while. Wulfie drew a bullet. It read, "Porno Joe". Yet another thing we hadn't witnessed for quite some time. Just Joe's "Porno Theme Music" played, and he began to dance for Wulfie, and to strip for him, and to give him a lap dance, and, actually quite a bit more than a lap dance. Wulfie was traumatized. Just Joe never remembers being Porno Joe when it's over, so he had no clue why Wulfie was infuriated with him. Wulfie said he had left The Metallic Onslaught to get away from stuff like this, and, now, after having quit MO the night before to join LE, he was now quitting LE to go back to MO, especially since there would be no Jeffie there now, as he had killed him. So there was one of the quickest turn arounds, quitting, joining something, and then quitting that to go back to the first in less than twenty four hours. Wulfie was so traumatized that he had to go home, so he and Rick left. Now, if a bullet played, there was a ton of blown up balloons at the bottom of the basement stairs, and Just Joe would have to throw himself down the stairs into the balloons. If no bullet, Just Joe would get to throw Azkath down the stairs into the balloons. Bullet, a cover. So Just Joe threw himself down the stairs, and we heard a lot of nice loud pops as he bounced on the balloons on the way down. When he came back up, he informed us that balloons do not make a good cushion for your fall, because they bounce away as you land on them, so you still wind up hitting the concrete, only now you bounce on it. For the last couple of hours, the RR, Russian Roulette part of the night ceased, but the TTTP, Tribute To The Past part continued, still all music from the past. So, on this night, we got to hear a lot of old, rare, and obscure Music, that you don't get to hear often, and was good to hear. There was several segments of Movie Time throughout the night, with Rick and Wulfie participating in some of them. And, to list all the guests on this night, EVD, Dave (seeming to suggest that maybe they are not the same person after all), Shane, Rick from The Metallic Onslaught, Wulfie from The Metallic Onslaught, Akiri, and Ria. And so thus went the special, seven hour, Tribute To The Past/Russian Roulette Show, a night with much violence, lots of disturbing, disgusting, traumatizing behavior, lots of silliness and hilarity, and lots of good, old, music...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; As both Halloween and this LE began at midnight, this was a very special Halloween program. EVD and Shane were there in the first part of the night. But most of the show featured bands. There were two bands, one was there for about the first couple hours, and one was there for most of the night. The former was the band Cult Of Saints, it was their first time here. They were interviewed, told us about themselves, and tracks from their CD were played. They are cool. The latter band was Zadoc And The Nightmare. They have added instruments to their band, they now have a cello and a mandolin. They were there until after 4:00. They played several sets of music, each with about three songs in it. They sounded awesome! They also updated us on what has been, and is, going on with the band, and about their forthcoming new CD. There was some molesting going on involving Just Joe and the band Zadoc And The Nightmare. Just Joe arrived quite late, about three hours into the program. After Zadoc And The Nightmare had gone, in the last part of the night, there were two segments of Movie Time, and one segment of Halloween Anomaly Corner. There was of course lots of Halloween music, both metal and comedy songs all throughout the night, about zombies, monsters, evil, and, just about Halloween in general... And thus went the very special Halloween LE...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard: There was something new that had never been done before, a Little Gorgar's Corner, Little Gorgar got to play a set of music that was her picks. When Tribute to the Past Russian Roulette was played, if a bullet played, Just Joe would get a preview of what might, and probably would, be in store for him next week, which would be The Hard Core Halloween Show. He would get a preview of one of the contraptions Azkath was working on for the occasion. If no bullet, then no preview. No bullet. So we shall see in next week's recap how The Hardcore Halloween Show went. There was a segment of Adventures In Listening, and, for the second time in not very many weeks, the rule of no matter how much something in that segment might suck, it would be let play all the way through, was broken when something sounding very country played and it was stopped, and a new, slightly revised, rule was instituted, that if a song in that segment does not fit the format of LE, it goes. There were three segments of Movie time, with Ria sort of participating in one of them, only she hadn't really seen much of anything lately. There were two segments of Anomaly Corner...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; EVD was there for most of the night, and Dustin, from the band Thirteen South, was there for about half of it. Tribute to the Past Russian Roulette was played. If no bullet played, Just Joe would get a prize. If a bullet played, no prize for Just Joe. A bullet, Judas Priest's "You've Got Another Think Coming", plus two covers, which also equals a bullet, so no prize for Just Joe. There were three segments of Movie Time, Dustin participated in one of them, and EVD sort of contributed, he talked about a YouTube clip involving Jack Black. There were two segments of Adventures In Listening, and one pseudo Adventures In Listening, where Azkath had some idea of what some of the music might be like, but hadn't listened to it that closely. There was a segment of Anomaly Corner...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; It had been Just Joe's birthday sometime in the week preceding this LE. Now, I always give the exact day, but, as of last year, some dispute has arisen about when the exact date is, as ridiculous as that sounds, but remember it's Just Joe we're talking about here. First facebook gave the wrong date, October 9th, then that confused Just Joe, I actually got into the dispute with him last year, he said his birthday was October 6th, but I told him he was wrong, it had always been on October 7th, ever since he's been here 'til last year, but he wouldn't believe me. I know it is his birthday, but he's dumb, and I have a super memory, where he has no memory, so I still say it's the 7th, he never said it was the 6th, 'til facebook screwed it up, and, this year, he didn't even give a date, just said it was sometime this past week, he wasn't sure when, so I am insisting on the 7th. Well, Happy Birthday Just Joe, whenever it was, or, I hope you had a happy day the 6th, 7th and, the 9th, all three dates, whichever is your birthday! Erica, a former host of Ithaska, the program which used to precede LE, but which has been gone for a long time now, was there for about the first hour. She hasn't been on the air here, for about eight years. They told Just Joe to take her down to the basement for his birthday. He tried, but she got away. Then she threw him down the stairs, twice, when they told her to. She was very good at it. Just Joe's Hugging Music played, and he hugged Erica, and EVD. Ian, from the band Arebours, was there for a couple hours. He updated us on things. Music from his CD was played. Arebours is very cool, www.myspace.com/arebours and, www.maurautious.com are their websites. There were three segments of Adventures In Listening, and three segments of Movie Time, one of which, the second, Ian participated in as well. There was a segment of Anomaly Corner...

October 3, 2010 - Wicked Ithaca Aftermath

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; In the first portion of the program there were a ton of people there. Three bands, Pandora's Toy Box, The Lobster Quadrille, and Psyche Corporation, all of whom had performed at Wicked Ithaca prior to being on LE, Gorgar, Little Gorgar, Adam, The Enforcer, Dave, and, Rick, Wulfie, and Wulfie's brother BILL!, the last three from The Metallic Onslaught. The bands were interviewed, first Pandora's Toybox, and then The Lobster Quadrille, both of which were first timers here, and they only were able to stay for the first couple of hours. Both bands's music was played, a couple of tracks each. They rock, www.thelobsterquadrille.com is the website, as I'm sure you can guess, where you can find The Lobster Quadrille, and, www.pandorastoybox.net is the website where, as I'm sure you can also tell, Pandora's Toybox can be found, and, www.sorrowseed.com is the website of one of that band member's other band, Sorrow Seed, a song of who's was also played, which also rocked. Psyche Corporation, which is Genevieve, who has been on LE many times, was there for the whole program. Her music was played as well, www.psychecorporation.com is her website. She is cool. After the first two mentioned bands had departed, they sent Just Joe, all covered in Saran Rap in his attempt to make himself look invisible, out to have Wulfie, in his wolf mask, chase him through town. BILL! went with them, and streamed it on his Android phone to the LE website so the listeners could view it live. Someone accused Just Joe of being on pot, and someone else kept asking him for pot, with a cop right nearby, a sample of the brilliant humanity out there. They recounted there adventures when they returned. Tribute to the Past Russian Roulette was played. There are now ten thousand nine hundred eighty nine songs on the computer. If a bullet played, Rick, Wulfie, and BILL!, would each get to break a record over Just Joe's head. If no bullet, Just Joe would get to break a record over Rick's, Wulfie's, and BILL!'s heads. A bullet, the band XYZ. Just Joe got records broken over his head by Rick, Wulfie, BILL!, and Azkath smashed one over Wulfie's head for saying a bad word on the air on accident. Just Joe was knocked out for a bit, but he soon recovered. They decided to hypnotize Wulfie and send him into the future, to a week after the end of the world, to December 30th, 2012, to see if he saw the same thing Just Joe had seen when they did that to him a long time ago. Just Joe had seen, he said, bunnies, lots and lots of bunnies, the land was covered with them, but there was something different about the bunnies, they were frightening, and Just Joe still gets traumatized when it's mentioned to him, especially when they tell him they were probably shoggoths. Wulfie was sent to the future, and they asked him to tell them what he saw. He did see the bunnies, and shoggoths, he said the shoggoths were eating the bunnies. Then he said that, upon closer inspection, there was something wrong about those bunnies. Yes, there was something very not alright about them, he said it was bad, very bad, so bad in fact, that he couldn't say it, so, it was unspeakable. He was brought back. But, before Azkath brought him out of the hypnotic state, he told him that, although he would not remember hearing this, now, every time he heard the word metal, he would be allergic to wolves. And, when Wulfie was out of his trance, they started saying the word metal a lot, using it to describe a lot of the songs they were playing, as in "this is very metal", or "this isn't nearly as metal as I thought it would be". And, indeed, every time they uttered the word metal, Wulfie would start sneezing a lot. So, since Wulfie calls himself The Metal Wulf, now he won't be able to say or hear his name without violently sneezing, and he won't have any idea why, unless he reads this, of course, or listens to LE again. There started to be an Adventures In Listening, but the first song up was SOOOOO bad, sounding almost like a country song, not a metal (sorry Wulfie) song at all, that it actually was the first song ever to break the rule of Adventures In Listening, that, no matter how much it sucked, it would be let play all the way through, but no one could bear to hear this one all the way through, so, for the first time ever in this segment, the song, and the segment, was halted. There was two segments of Movie time, with Wulfie, Rick,BILL! , and Genevieve participating. Rick, Wulfie,BILL!, and Genevieve stayed for the whole program, though BILL! fell asleep about halfway through the night...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; Two members of the band Static People, the vocalist and the guitar player, called in for an extended phone interview. A track of their's was played, www.staticpeople.com and, www.myspace.com/staticpeopleband are their websites, and they are also on facebook search for Static people there. They are cool. Tribute to the Past Russian Roulette was played. Azkath told Just Joe that, after a storm the other day, he had gone outside and found the ground covered in something that looked like bread that had apparently rained down from the sky. He had gathered up a lot of it, and now, if a bullet played, Just Joe would have to eat some of the substance that looked like bread, but, given that it had rained down from the sky, who knew what it was. If no bullet, then he didn't have to eat it. No bullet. There were 2 segments of Adventures In Listening. Three segments of Movie Time were interspersed throughout the night. Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; Shane was there for the second week in a row, and he had brought a person with him, a girl. Now last week, Shane had returned after many weeks absence saying that he had finally obtained the proof they had dispatched him to find. However, instead of bringing proof of what they had asked for, that EVD and Dave were really the same person, he had brought back a lot of proof for things like The Loch Ness Monster, Sasquatch, and Chupa Cabra, which, though all very interesting, again was not what he had been asked to do, in other words, he failed miserably. But he had been given another mission to perform. He was told to go forth and return with stilts, which they were going to have Just Joe wear and send him out in a few weeks. So now Shane was back, but not with stilts, he had brought crutches, but no stilts. When asked about this, he said that he did not believe stilts existed. So, Shane brought back proof for a lot of things of which some people doubt the existence of, but for something that the general consensus, shared by everyone, is that it certainly does exist, stilts, well, Shane Doesn't believe they exist, probably because he couldn't find them and doesn't want to admit it. So, in other words, he failed miserably again, but, again, what else can you expect from someone who was grown from a severed body part of Just Joe's, his hand. It had been decided that Tim needed an intervention to make him a man, since he loves romantic chick flick movies, and his favorite show is "Dawson's Creek", and he got beaten up there twice this night, once by a girl. Tim didn't think he needed to become a man, saying he already was one, but everyone else insisted he did need it. They forced him to watch "The Retard-o-thon 2", 90 minutes of video clips of crashes, porn, and other stuff guaranteed to make him a man by the time it was finished. And it worked, Tim started talking like a wrestler, and saying he wanted to set stuff on fire, and break stuff, bring on the explosions! When asked what he thought of "Dawson's Creek", he said he hated that show, except for wanting to do the hot chicks on it, and, when he participated in Movie Time, he actually didn't review a romantic chick flick, but more of an action film, and he said the explosions were great. Just Joe was sent to the basement to fetch stuff for Tim to break. He returned with a big sheet of metal, which wasn't very smart on Just Joe's part, but then, what ever is smart for him, because Tim took the metal and hit Just Joe over the head with it repeatedly. Tim also beat on other people like Shane. He also went from being very polite, to rude and obnoxious, interrupting people and talking over them. There was a lot of violent behavior going on. Azkath decided to let Tim do a dead host drill, where he thinks up a scenario where he dies and lets someone else take over running the program to see how they do. Everyone else had done badly except for Dave, which doesn't count because he is the absolutely worst co-host in the world and would never be there if the need arose. Tim was confident he could run the program. Azkath thought of the scenario, he and Tim were dancing (a song had just been played that had turned out to be unexpectedly danceable, which had led to people dancing, which was what brought on that scenario), and Tim had become so violent now that he slammed Azkath into the door frame head first, killing him, and then throwing his lifeless body down the stairs and leaving it there (once again Just Joe protested that Azkath was stealing events from Just Joe's life and claiming they were his, but this was what they were going with anyways). So Tim took over running the program... And did really well, better than anyone else had done so far, playing Lamb Of God, Merciful Fate, and other metal, manly fare. Until... Suddenly Bon Jovi's "You Give Love A Bad Name" played. Tim said he hadn't meant to play that, and had no idea how that happened, but then went on to say that he kind of liked it, really liked it, in fact. He kept getting more and more into it, losing his tough, manly voice more and more as he went. Then other people started rocking out to the Bon Jovi, 'til everyone was except for Azkath and EVD, who were both appalled and disgusted and dismayed. Azkath said he might have a way to salvage something from this total disaster... He sent out the Bon Jovi to me, to celebrate my 8th anniversary here, which was coming up that Wednesday, September 22nd, since I like Bon Jovi, which I do, I totally am a glam loving, '80's loving poser, and I had been rocking out to the Bon Jovi along with everyone else, except for Azkath and EVD, of course. So thank you very much, Azkath, that was very much appreciated, and, Happy 8th Anniversary to me! Tim, and some other people, wanted to hear the Bon Jovi again, but Azkath and EVD said no way. And just that one song seemed to have totally undone all of Tim's new found manliness for some strange reason. He loved "Dawson's Creek" again, and started raving about some romantic teen movies, one he loved, and one he was psyched to see. They gave up, concluding that perhaps one loud, obnoxious, rude dude, EVD, might be enough anyways. Tim departed, and we actually did hear Bon Jovi one more time this night.! Tim requested the song "Runaway", to listen to while he was driving home, and Azkath, apparently being in a very generous mood, actually granted his request, so we actually got to hear Bon Jovi twice in one night, to my great pleasure. Movie Time was interspersed throughout the night, with several people participating, and there was a segment of Adventures In Listening.

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; At the beginning of the program there was a ton of people there. EVD and Dave were there seeming once again to cast doubt on the theory that they are the same person. Tim was there, and he had brought with him his friend Steve again, so it was Steve's second time there. EVD was asked if he had broken Just Joe out of rehab where he had been put to cure his I-dosing addiction. EVD said that he had gone to the rehab, but Just Joe was not there. That mystery was very soon to be solved, because just then arrived Wulfie and his brother BBBIIIIIILLLLL!!! (You have to say the name BBBIIIIILLLL!!! like that, which is why Azkath insisted he now be known as Ed), from The Metallic Onslaught. They had with them a bound and gagged Just Joe. Wulfie arrived with his werewolf mask on, but soon took it off, saying of course he was not a werewolf. Wulfie said he and BBBIIIIILLLLL!!! err, Ed were going to hold Just Joe hostage until Azkath did something about Jeffie. Azkath told Wulfie he thought he had something he would like to put an end to this problem, he would do something he would normally never do, but just for him he would, he would play Bon Jovi, as Jeffie had told him how much Wulfie liked Bon Jovi. Wulfie said Jeffie was a liar. Wulfie demanded that Azkath make Jeffie stupid, even more stupid than he already was, like really, really stupid, so that Jeffie would believe that Wulfie was really a werewolf. They had them un-gag Just Joe (and they ripped duct tape off his whole head, tearing out a lot of hair doing that), and Just Joe said that he thought he could accomplish this, he would I-dose Jeffie to be really stupid. Everyone seemed satisfied with this solution, and they charged Just Joe with that task. Just Joe started freaking out when Wulfie and Azkath started talking about Shoggoths, so Azkath played his Hugging Music to calm him down. Just Joe hugged everyone, and EVD duct taped Just Joe Dave and Shane (more on Shane in a second) together. in all the chaos that ensued there was a big man pile, and Dave did an unspeakable thing to Shane, involving Dave's butt landing on Shane in an area well let's just say that scarred Shane for life, especially when a certain gas issued forth from Dave. Shane had arrived saying that he had finally brought the proof he had been dispatched to obtain several weeks ago. He presented a large file of proof. However, although there was a lot of proof for a lot of things they had not asked him to look into, like The Loch Ness Monster, Chupacabra, Sasquatch, which was all very interesting and fascinating, but it was not what they had asked him to prove. For what they had sent him to prove, that EVD and Dave were the same person, well, on that he had brought nothing. Well, Shane is grown from Just Joe's severed hand, so, how bright could he really be. If Just Joe usually screws up anything he's tasked with how can we really expect much more from his hand. However, Azkath gave Shane another mission to try. To go get stilts, because, in a few weeks, they were going to send Just Joe out on stilts and get people's reactions. Shane said he could get stilts and ran off immediately to do so presumably. It was EVD's 5th anniversary on September 11th, which was the Saturday that ended as this LE began at midnight. Happy Anniversary, EVD! For his anniversary Azkath gave EVD lots of Styrofoam and let him beat on everyone with it. Just Joe took some of the broken Styrofoam and put it down his pants, and then started throwing it at people. There was more slapping this week. Shane was told to slap Just Joe 'til he cried. It only took about two or three to accomplish this. Well, Just Joe had had a pretty trying night, what with being held hostage, having the skin and hair being ripped off his whole head when they un-duct taped him, being traumatized with all the talk of shoggoths, and being beaten down with Styrofoam. Then Shane was told to slap EVD 'til he cried. That took a lot more, and needed several pokes in the eye to get something that could be called a tear. There was three segments of Movie Time, which EVD (who had actually seen something, and, could actually remember what it was), Tim, and Steve participated in as well.

September 5, 2010 - Steve's Debut

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; Just Joe was not there for the second week in a row, because he is still in rehab for his I-dosing addiction. So EVD was told he would have to go break him out of there. He said he could do that, and would have him back by next week. But, for tonight, EVD was at LE. Tim was there for a good portion of the night, and Jonathan, from the band Thirteen South was there for about two or three hours. Tim brought someone with him, Steve. It was Steve's first time at LE. There was some slapping going on. First Tim was asked if he would like to play the game, let's take turns slapping Tim 'til he cries. He said he didn't think so. It was tried, just to be sure, after he was slapped, he said he knew he didn't want to. He suggested how 'bout slapping EVD. EVD didn't seem to like that idea, but he got two slaps from Tim, and one from Azkath anyways. Tim won because his slap sounded better, and got a better result, sound, from EVD. There were two segments of Movie Time, which everyone participated in. However, EVD could only say that he had actually seen a movie, for once, but that, although they kept coming back to him to give him more time to think about it, he never could remember what it was he had seen, only that he had seen something. There was an hour long Featured Artist at the end of the program, an hour of the band Death...

August 29, 2010 - Just Joe is in Rehab

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; EVD was there. Dave was not, causing Azkath to claim again that they are the same person, which, EVD, again, denied but could not prove. Shane, who is supposed to produce the proof that they are the same person, and claimed he had it, was still not there either. Just Joe was not there because he was still in rehab for I-dosing, where Azkath had put him after finding him passed out in the ditch, in the rain, shivering, and I-dosing, the week before. Just Joe called in, reporting from rehab, and was not happy to hear that he would be billed for his rehab. So, even though Azkath got him hooked on the I-dosing, he is only staging the intervention, not paying for it. That's evil Demons for you! Tim, formerly of Century Media, and, before that, of Victory Records, was there. He and EVD participated in Movie Time, of which there were two segments. There was a segment of Adventures In Listening, and, the program ended with an hour long Feature Artist, which was Agent Steel, an hour of their music...

August 22, 2010 - Just Joe Gets Sent Away...
- 2:57 AM

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; The week before, EVD, Dave, and Shane had all been there, tending to disprove the theory that EVD and Dave are really the same person. Shane had been told to prove that they were the same person. He had said he could do that, and then departed to get the proof. He had promised to bring the found proof this week, but now none of the three were there. So the mystery remains. Jess, from Wicked Ithaca, stopped by for one talk break near the beginning of the program to update us on that upcoming event, www.wickedithaca.com is the website where you can check that out. Tim, formerly of Century Media, and before that, of Victory Records, who hasn't been at LE for quite a while was there for about three hours. Ria was also there for a while. There were three segments of Movie Time interspersed throughout the night. Tim joined in on two of them, and Ria did on one. Just Joe had been claiming that he had not I-dosed in two weeks, and was done with it. No one really believed him, though. At the end of the program, Azkath found Just Joe outside, near the ditch, passed out in the rain, wet and shivering, with headphones on! He had been I-dosing! He tried to deny that that was what he had been doing, but it was obvious. Azkath told Just Joe that he was sending him into rehab, that he was staging an intervention. Just Joe said that he didn't need rehab, that he could stop any time he wanted to. And, besides, he went on, there was no such thing as rehab for I-dosing. Azkath insisted that he was going to put him into rehab. Which is very considerate of him, and really the least he can do, since he is the one who got Just Joe addicted to I-dosing in the first place... The program ended with Just Joe wanting to go get in the ditch and listen to I-doses some more. Yeah, right, he definitely doesn't have a problem, no addiction there at all!

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; EVD and Dave were both there, which might tend to disprove Azkath's theory of the week before that they are the same person, which EVD had strongly denied. Azkath had them take a picture with everyone in it, to document that both EVD and Dave were in it. He then told Shane, who was there after a long, long absence to prove that they were the same person. Shane said that he could do that, and went off to do so. He didn't come back. Azkath wanted to I-dose Dave. He was taken down to the basement, and left there I-Dose. When they brought him back up, the only thing he would do and say was scream "oogie woogie, oogie woogie" over and over. He ran outside and attacked a car going by screaming oogie woogie, oogie woogie at them. Everyone ran outside after Dave, they had to tackle him, and there was a humping pile. They finally got him inside, and, thanks to Adam, chained him to a chair. They found out that the way to cure Dave from oogie woogie-ing, was to feed him a pepperoni. Once Dave was back to being Dave, he said that he was upset that he had failed the Dead Host drill of a few weeks back, where Azkath would think up a scenario that would have led to his death, and everyone there would try to take over and run the show. Everyone had failed. And Dave had failed because when it was his turn to try and run the show, there was only silence, because, being that he is the worst co-host in the world, he wasn't there. Dave claimed that he could run the show and wanted to try. So Azkath devised the scenario, he was stuck on his roof, and raccoons ate his face, and he died, and then the raccoons set him on fire. Just Joe later had a problem with this, as these were things that happened to him, not Azkath, Just Joe accused Azkath of stealing other people's events, but for now they were going with that. Dave was told that he had to successfully play a Queensryche song, which no one else had been able to do, and then play a request of Little Gorgar's. Dave did both successfully, which means, I guess, that he is by far the most capable of taking over the program, the only one actually, but unfortunately, it doesn't matter, because he is never there to be able to run it should the need arise. Just Joe said that he wanted another chance to try running the show. But when he tried to play Queensrryche, the same thing that had happened before happened again, the only thing that would play no matter what he did was The Smurfs, doing a techno thing, which no one could ever even figure out where it had came from. Just Joe decided that, instead of playing music, he would give the webcam viewers a special treat, a puppet show. He had a glove with five monkeys on it for the fingers, and a Cthulhu puppet. He had Cthulhu start eating the monkeys. Dave is terrified of puppets for some reason (puppets and trees), so he ran away shrieking, and in his blind rush to get away knocked Azkath down the basement stairs, which is a first, in all these years, and all the people who have gone tumbling down those stairs, most often Just Joe, Azkath never has. He announced that falling down the stairs officially sucked, which I'm sure a lot of people would readily agree with him on, especially Just Joe. Azkath was pissed at Just Joe for causing him to fall down the stairs by bringing out his puppets and scaring Dave, and he threw Joe down the stairs. Dave was now gone for the night. There was a segment of Adventures In Listening, begun with new Soundgarden, of all things, but I liked it, and two segments of Movie Time. Gorgar was there in the last two hours of the program. He told us he'd been having some problems with his heart. We all wish him well with that, hopefully they will be cleared up soon. In the mean time, I guess, for his own good, the more bad things that happen to him at LE, the less they will happen to him in general...

In the mean time, I guess, for his own good, the more bad things that happen to him at LE, the less they will happen to him in general...

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; EVD was there, but Dave was not, which leads us to conclude that EVD and Dave are the same person, or that EVD can morph into either one, because whenever EVD is there, Dave isn't, and vice versa. EVD strongly denies this, but no one believes him. Two women representing Wicked Ithaca dropped by to tell us about that upcoming event, www.wickedithaca.com is the website where you can check that out. Victoria was there for a little while and she concurred that EVD and Dave must be one and the same. Gorgar and Little Gorgar were there early in the night, much earlier than Gorgar is usually there. Azkath explained I-dosing to EVD and Gorgar. When Russian Roulette was played... If a bullet played, Gorgar would get to try the I-dosing. If no bullet, Azkath would play a special song just for Just Joe. And, if an EVD bullet played, EVD would get to try the I-dosing. No bullet. However, Just Joe was elsewhere when the set was playing, and wasn't listening, so they lied to him and told him a bullet had played. So Gorgar went down to the basement to lie quietly still and I-Dose. While he was doing that, Little Gorgar got to take Just Joe outside and throw water balloons at him, he came back inside soaked. When Gorgar finally came back, he was very un-Gorgar like, he was actually happy, very happy, which is never the case with him. He was so mellow and happy that he didn't even freak out in the slightest when told there was a big spider on his arm, or even when he was told that there were deer. He said it didn't matter, he liked deer. And, unlike Just Joe, who still tries to insist, no matter how much evidence there is to the contrary, that the I-dosing doesn't work at all, Gorgar readily admitted that they worked great. Gorgar departed all smiles and happy, again, an unbelievable sight. Azkath told Just Joe that they had lied to him, that there had been no bullet. But he said he would now play Just Joe the special song he would really like. It was a cover of "Mr. Roboto", by Mose Giganticus, which both Just Joe, and I, did enjoy very much indeed. There was a segment of Movie Time. Then, when he was supposed to be on the air, Just Joe wasn't there. Foul Mouth Girl was sent to look for him, and brought him back from the basement. And he had MP3 headphones on. Azkath accused him of I-dosing. Just Joe tried to deny it, but, once again, Azkath found his MP3 player on Just Joe. Azkath told Just Joe that he was not allowed to I-dose any more, and, besides, why should he care, since they have no effect on him at all? Just Joe kept trying to sneak off with the MP3 player again, so Azkath gave him a brutal beat down. Then he kept taunting an injured Just Joe with the MP3 player, asking him if he wanted it, when Just Joe said yes, telling him he couldn't have it, telling him "here it is", then saying "but not for you", and pulling it away from him. In the last talk break of the night, however, Just Joe once again had managed to get his hands on the MP3 player (he is nothing if not determined). When Azkath tried to grab it away from him, he ran away with it, and, because he was running so hard, and not paying attention to where he was going, he fell right down the basement stairs. But he still had the MP3 player, and he was now down in the basement with it, so I guess, regardless of how he got there, he was happy. That could change, or increase, depending on which I-dose he started listening to down there...

August 1, 2010 - Check Engine Acoustic

Recap by Fire Eater Wizard; Tim, the vocalist for the band Check Engine, was there for the first couple hours of the program. He was interviewed, the songs from his band's CD were played, and he performed a few songs live and acoustic on the air. Very cool. Just Joe was still sticking to his claim that the I-dosing they've been experimenting on him with for the last two weeks have absolutely no affect on him whatsoever, even though it's obvious to everyone else that they do. Azkath asked Just Joe where his MP3 player, with the I-doses on it, had gone. Just Joe said he had no idea, but Azkath searched him, and, what do you know, there was his MP3 player. Just Joe, of course, claimed he had no idea how it had gotten there. When it came time for Russian Roulette, Azkath told Just Joe he had a new I-Dose for him, and that, if no bullet played, he could have the MP3 player and listen to it. If a bullet played, Foul Mouth Girl could try it, to which Just Joe said he would go with her, just to make sure she knew how it worked, of course, although he didn't know why they were even bothering with it any more, since they clearly did not work. No bullet. Just Joe pretended he didn't care, and eagerly grabbed the MP3 player and raced off to the basement. I have never seen Just Joe so eager to hang out in the basement. Given all the horrible things that have happened to him there, all the bad things he's seen down there, and the many, many, many, many times he's been thrown down those stairs, he used to avoid the basement like the plague. Wonder what's changed?? Can't be that he loves I-Dosing, since it doesn't work at all. Azkath said he himself had created this biaurl, and that it was supposed to make you all drunk and goofy. And, go figure, that is exactly the way Just Joe came back from the basement, all laughing, and running after a ball that Azkath told him to chase, even though there was no ball, although Just Joe somehow returned with one, saying he'd found it. Azkath told Just Joe there was one more new I-Dose on the MP3 player, again, one that he himself had made, and that Just Joe could listen to it. Just Joe said he didn't care, grabbed the MP3 player and dashed down to the basement. Azkath said this one was supposed to make you paranoid. Just Joe came back all jumpy and somewhat hostile and accusatory, if you asked him any question at all he would snap "why do you want to know?". He would jump at any little thing, and wound up curled up in a fetal position in the corner. Dave, the worst co-host in the world, was actually there for a while at the beginning of the program, even picking out the first set of music. There were two segments of Movie Time in the last portion of the program. Just Joe ended up the night talking in a very monotone way, no matter what the conversation was he put no expression into it. Azkath told him it was ok to get excited, he yelled out excitedly once, then went back to being all expressionless... Ya know, Just Joe's been acting really weird lately, even for him. Wonder what could be causing it?? Has he been doing anything new lately? Can't think of anything. Oh yeah, there is the I-dosing, but it can't be that, since that doesn't work at all, just ask Just Joe. Of course, he might bite your head off for asking, or just point and giggle hysterically, if you do... Who knows what the cause is... Maybe it's from hanging out in the basement too much, some very strange shit has been known to happen down there...
